How do I play?

Each puzzle is a real word spelled a strange new way, where every chunk of letters makes a sound it makes in other words. Read the scramble out loud and you'll usually hear the answer. Stuck? Use a hint.

Is my progress stored anywhere?

Only on your device. Nothing is sent to a server or the developer.

What's free vs. Fonix Plus?

You can sound out 10 puzzles in every difficulty for free, plus a daily puzzle. Fonix Plus is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited puzzles, unlimited hints, full stats, and extra themes.

I bought Plus but it's not showing.

Open Settings in the app and tap “Restore purchases.” If it still doesn't appear, email us.

A puzzle seems wrong or unfair.

Send us the scramble and the answer. We review reports and refine the puzzle set.

Good details to include
