Help for Wait, Did I?

Questions, bug reports, App Store review notes, and privacy questions can all point here.

A note on checking and OCD

Wait, Did I? is a self-help organizer, not medical care. If checking is affecting your life, the most effective help is Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with a licensed therapist. You can learn more at the International OCD Foundation. If you are in crisis, please reach out for real-time help; in the US you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Quick answers

Where are my routines stored?
Everything is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to a server or to the developer.
Does the app require an account?
No. Wait, Did I? is designed without accounts, analytics, ads, or tracking.
When do the checkmarks clear?
Each routine clears at the end of the day, or on a timer you set, so the same list is ready to use again.
Why does it ask me to pause before re-checking?
Re-checking tends to feed the doubt rather than settle it. The short, always-skippable pause is there to help you let the uncertainty be, and it celebrates choosing to resist.
What's included in Plus?
A one-time purchase unlocks unlimited routines, custom reset timers, extra themes, and full progress history. The core checklist is free.

Good details to include

  • Your iPhone or iPad model and iOS version.
  • Which screen had the issue.
  • What you expected to happen.
  • What happened instead.
