Information the app stores

Alta's Affirmations stores the content and preferences you create inside the app, including custom affirmations, selected categories, hidden built-in affirmations, widget style and refresh settings, onboarding status, optional sweetheart name and pronouns, and optional bold-language settings.

Where that information stays

This information is stored locally on your device. Widget-related information is also shared locally with the Alta's Affirmations widget extension through Apple's app group storage so the widget can show your selected affirmations.

Information collected by the developer

The app does not collect personal information from you and does not send your affirmations or settings to the developer. If you contact support, the information you choose to send in that message may be used to respond to your request.

Analytics, ads, and tracking

Alta's Affirmations does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies. It does not sell personal data.

Purchases

Alta's Affirmations offers an optional one-time in-app purchase, Alta's Plus. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. The app does not receive or store your payment information; Apple handles the transaction under Apple's own policies.

Backups and Apple services

Your device settings, Apple account settings, iCloud backup settings, crash diagnostics settings, and App Store activity may be handled by Apple according to Apple's own policies. Alta's Affirmations does not control those Apple services.

Children's privacy

Alta's Affirmations is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Health and wellness note

Alta's Affirmations is a self-care and reflection tool. It is not medical care, mental health treatment, crisis support, or a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the app changes. If data practices change materially, this page should be updated before the new version is released.
